RCS API

RCS allows you to send rich and engaging messages to consumers within their native SMS inbox on compatible Android devices in supported markets. The Sinch RCS REST API provides Universal Profile 2.0 RCS messaging with granular controls to allow fallback to SMS when a handset is not RCS enabled. The Sinch A2P RCS solution is now in Closed Beta. To take part in the Beta program, please contact your Sinch account manager or fill out the form on this page.

RCS Support

RCS is currently limited to Android devices running Google Messages or Samsung Messages. Most smartphone manufacturers are now shipping with Google Messages as the default messaging app.
